In May, after voluntary application and rigid school interviews, three Dalton students were elected for the practical inquiry and scientific research program co-launched by College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University and Dalton Academy of the Affiliated High School of Peking University. Before students joined the research team, Dalton Academy invited Professor Huang Yanyi, Professor Zhang Wenbin, and Researcher Zou Peng to Dalton Academy to face-to-face meet students.
In the meeting, three professors and researchers were officially invited as scientific research mentors of Dalton Academy. During the meeting, Dalton mentees raised many specific research questions, and received passionate responses from their tutors. Issues regarding entering laboratories were also effectively discussed. All the three students are looking forward to their future study and research at labs offered by College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University.
