From Classroom to Museum: Fieldtrip in China National Arts and Crafts Museum

In one of Dalton Academy's Chinese Liberal Arts elective courses, Art in China, students went to China National Arts and Crafts Museum and visited two exhibitions: Ancestral Worship: Exhibition of Portraits of Royal Family Members of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the Collection of Chinese National Academy of Arts and Replicating Mural Paintings from Regions along the Silk Road. In this activity, students were able to apply what they have learned about ancient Chinese portraits to real exhibitions, understand the communication and integration of different cultures, and are trained as patriotic, international, and future-oriented leading talents.
